WASABi CHEESE

Today I tasted wasabi cheese for the very first time, and it was love at first bite. At first I was hesitant about purchasing the wasabi cheese, while standing stunned at the dairy cabinet, looking at all the variety of cheeses available these days. I thought the wasabi might be too strong and sharp like it is when eating sushi, and you squeeze too much on your Californian roll, and your eyes are flung to the back of your head, and your scalp pops off!. But I was wrong, the taste was much more subtle than I imagined, with its smooth blending with the cheese. The wasabi cheese I tried was Emporium Selection Wasabi Handcrafted Cheese from Aldi, and I look forward to tasting the other styles and brands available.
