1760 – The “Great Fire” of Boston, Massachusetts destroyed 349 buildings on the 20th March 1760.

1796Edward Gibbon Wakefield the British politician was born on the 20th March 1796 (died 1862). He was the driving force behind much of the early colonisation of South Australia, and New Zealand.

1836 – Edward Poynter the English painter was born on the 20th March 1836 (died 1919).

1950 – Carl Palmer the English drummer and songwriter from Emerson, Lake & Palmer was born on the 20th March 1950.

1984 – iJustine the American Youtube personality was born on the 20th March 1984.

1986 – Ruby Rose the Australian model, actress, and singer was born on the 20th March 1986.
