MONDAYS ON THE 1ST DAY OF THE MONTH
Monday 1st October 2012 ~ Have a Merry Monday and a Happy New Month. Most new months don’t start on a Monday, exactly at the start of the working week. So Monday at the start of this month is a magnificent day to start your New Month’s resolutions.
Did you know that the month only starts on a Monday on 1 or 2 months per year?, on average, that’s 1.6 times per year to be precise, I know because I counted all 16 in the 10 years between 2008 to 2017. I also noticed there were no reoccurring patterns, with 3 months in 2010, 1 in 2011, 1 in 2012 and 2 in 2013, for example. The last time the month started on a Monday was last year in August 2011. The next will be on the 1st April 2013, followed by the 1st July 2013. Next year Monday will fall on the 1st of the month in September 2014 & December 2014.
