SHiRLEY TEMPLE the American actress,  singer and dancer passed away on the 11th February 2014, aged 85.  Shirley Temple Black was born in Santa Monica, California on this 23rd day of April in 1928. She was best known for her movie roles in Bright EyesThe Little ColonelCurly TopWee Willie WinkieHeidiThe Little PrincessThe Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer, and Fort Apache.

Shirley Temple later entered politics after her acting career, and was named United States Ambassador to Ghana and later to United States Ambassador to Czechoslovakia. She also served as Chief of Protocol of the United States (1976–77).

The SHiRLEY TEMPLE COCKTAiL Recipe

The Shirley Temple recipe

Ingredients:

3 ounces lemon-lime soda

3 ounces ginger ale

Dash grenadine

Maraschino cherry for garnish

Pour lemon-lime soda and ginger ale into a glass with ice cubes. Add a dash of grenadine. Then stir and top it off with a cherry.
