1896 – Henry Ford completed the Ford Quadricycle and gave it a successful test run on the 4th June 1896, becoming his first gasoline-powered automobile.

1910 – Christopher Cockerell the English engineer and inventor of the hovercraft was born on the 4th June 1910 (d. 1999).

1943 – Joyce Meyer the American educator and author was born on the 4th June 1943.

1961 – El DeBarge the American singer-songwriter  from DeBarge was born on the 4th June 1961.

1965Mick Doohan (AM) the Australian former Grand Prix motorcycle road racing World Champion was born in Brisbane on the 4th June 1965. Mich Doohan won 5 consecutive 500 cc World Championships.

1975 – Russell Brand the English comedian, actor, and singer was born on the 4th June 1975.

1975 – Angelina Jolie the American actress, director, producer, and screenwriter was born on the 4th June 1975.

1990Evan Spiegel the American internet entrepreneur and co-founder of Snapchat, the mobile app, was born on the 4th June 1990. ~ www.snapchat.com

2012 – The Diamond Jubilee Concert was held outside Buckingham Palace on The Mall, London on the 4th June 2012. The concert was organised by Gary Barlow  as part of Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
