“On this day 2 years ago, my best friend and travel companion died. I still think about him almost everyday, but choose not to be sad, for I am lucky to have had 14 wonderful years of travel & adventure together with my dog, Sable’s spirit is always in my heart.”
~ Anton K. Kressnig (12th January 2013)
I first met Sable when he was a rescue dog* at the RSPCA Victoria animal shelter on Monday the 29th December in 1997. He was a Malamute / Dingo cross stray from the streets of Bayswater, aged 1 year old approximately. He was an unusual dog with a lot of energy and spirit, and liked to hug and hump everything that moved. He had a lot of love to give.
