The couple were photographed without their knowledge while they were staying at Château d’Autet, the private home of Lord Linley, the Queen’s nephew, also known as Viscount Linley, in the Luberon region of France. The half nude photos were purchased by the Closer magazine, and are now subject to legal action by Britain’s royal family.

2002 ~ ARTHURS SEAT TOWER demolition started on the 10th September 2012. The Arthurs Seat lookout tower opened in 1934, on a 305m hill on the Mornington Peninsula, in Victoria, Australia. A proposed lookout tower to replace the historic tower is planned. The new tower will be used for fully enclosed gondola cars, along with traditional open chairlift seats for the views of Port Phillip Bay and the Mornington Peninsula, under plans to build a new chairlift at Arthurs Seat, replacing the controversial original chairlift. A painting bought at a flea market in the US for $7, turned out to be a rare artwork by French Impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir, valued at up to $100,000. The rare painting was bought by a woman at a Virginia flea market, as part of a box lot that also included a plastic cow and doll. Later she took the painting to a Virginia auction house, where experts confirmed it was Renoir’s Paysage Bords de Seine (Landscape on the Banks of the Seine), a river scene from about 1879, and believed to be originally bought from a Paris gallery in 1926.
